I haven't uploaded anything of any value in like 6 years now. I haven't allocated any opportunity to drawing, and probably haven't drawn any single thing since high school. Haven't really done anything 3d modelling-wise. I've just been moderately occupied with work (web design and development, and some residential computer repair).
(Warning: whining time)
I've also grown a little apathetic of photography. Considering "my" Nikon D50 which was a 'gift' in the beginning, but was prohibited from bringing it anywhere, or that I had small windows of opportunity to use it as my brother (who had 'gifted' it to me) had it most of the time. And then eventually one day, he had it on a tripod unbalanced, and it had tipped over, with the lens of the camera mashing into the ground (but not cracking), but of which jammed the autofocus of the lens. To which my brother later on finally let me finally have 'my' camera, and got something better for himself. The Nikon D50 is also limited that it cannot handle SDHC cards, so I can only use 2GB or less SD cards, otherwise it has a memory card error. This about about a few years ago.
The other part that drove further apathy is being dictated as 24/7 family photographer, and the punching bag for any errors. Specifically, my brother chooses to make each Christmas picture, more complex each year. This year, his Christmas picture included: him, his wife, 1 baby, 1 toddler, a cat, two dogs, two horses, 3 goats (I count 12 things). If one has their eyes closed as the shutter opens, or turns their head, it's my fundamental error as a 'photographer' to not perfectly capture a picture with all the above, looking at the camera, eyes open in symmetry.
(End of whining time)
Lastly, I don't consider myself a 'photographer'. I only do 'opportunity photography' in the sense that: the only reason anything of my stuff might be 'interesting' is only because I had the opportunity to capture something interesting. Whether it be a time-limited opportunity, such as clouds. Or access to uncommon things, such as water features and related plants. Just because I have access to such things does not make me a photographer. It's a matter of perspective, editing, proportions, and other art conventions or variations of something to be 'art', rather than seeing something and pushing the button.
In summary, I have not drawn, I have not done anything 3d, I don't have a camera in a convenient condition (and don't want to burn money on something better, as I won't use it to its value), despite wanting to at least have something to put on dA for about a year with no results. Thus with that track record, I don't foresee that I'll have really much of anything to post in the future. (I haven't even been on dA for anything shorter than 3-6 month intervals).
Oh well.
